Stoa organises events alone and works in cooperation with various festivals and groups of performers. Our facilities are suitable for dance, theatre and circus performances as well as concerts. Our premises are also equipped to screen films. The Theatre Hall seats 231 and is especially popular among dance and circus performers. It is easily adaptable. The auditorium is retractable and has ascending rows of seats.
The Music Hall seats 74 and is suitable for smaller dance and theatre performances and concerts. This auditorium also has ascending rows of seats.
Café Stoa is licensed to serve alcoholic beverages, and serves refreshments during intermissions. The café is open during events.
Exhibition facilities at Stoa consist of the Gallery and the lobby balcony. They are primarily used to exhibit the works of professional artists and artist groups. Exhibitions are organised in cooperation with various festivals and artists. The Gallery and the lobby balcony are also hired out for exhibitions.

The exterior wall of the two-storey Gallery is made of glass, giving the space ample natural light. The floor area is 154.5 m². The high ceiling and open space also make it excellent for installations.
The balcony gallery circles the Stoa lobby upstairs. The space is suitable for organising smaller exhibitions.
Seminars, meetings and training sessions can be organised at Stoa when possible, the programme permitting. For a maximum audience of 240, you could hire a hall. If you are organising a smaller meeting, take a look at our clubroom.

Not all the facilities in the building are managed by the City of Helsinki Cultural Office. The building also houses the Itäkeskus Library, where you can hire a meeting room, and the Adult Education Centre, where classrooms are available for hire.
The Theatre Hall is suitable for larger groups, up to 240 people. If you are looking for a different auditorium, the Theatre Hall could be for you.
The Music Hall can be used to organise seminars, meetings and training sessions. The ascending auditorium seats 74 people.
The Clubroom can be hired for meetings. It seats 20 people. The room is equipped with appropriate conference equipment. You can arrange the tables and chairs as you wish.
The meeting rooms of the Itäkeskus Library are suitably equipped, and you can arrange the furniture as you wish. Please enquire about available classrooms at the Adult Education Centre.
